Trident Medical Cover

Medical insurance policy, also referred to as health insurance, covers the medical expenses incurred by the insured or their dependents. It covers numerous illness and or bodily injuries. It can be taken by an individual or a group of people. The policy can be out-patient (walk in and out of hospital) only or in-patient (admission) only. It can also have a combination of both in and out patient.

Claim reimbursement at 100% within 10 Working Days from the day of submission.
Road and air evacuation in case of an emergency.
Lodger Fee for children below 6 years of age.
Children covered from birth to 18 years, and up to 25 years will be covered subject to proof of being in school or college on a full time basis.
Maximum joining age 65 years.
Cover outside Kenya on holiday & Business provided up to Six weeks.
Evacuation abroad for treatment not locally available.

Admission in a NHIF accredited hospital.
Accommodation for parent/guardian accompanying a child below 6 years.
Doctors, Surgeons, and specialist fees.
Laboratory investigations, x-rays, ultrasound, ECG, MRI scans.
Prescribed drugs, dressings, surgical appliances, and nursing procedures.
Theatre including surgeons fees and anesthetists fees
Intensive care (ICU)/High Dependency Unit (HDU).
Limits – from Kshs. 50,000 to Kshs. 10,000,000 per family/ per person.
Consultation with a General Practitioner who is Registered with the Kenya Medical practitioners and dentist board
Consultation with a Specialist on referral by a General Practitioner
Laboratory investigations, X-rays, Electrocardiograms, Encephalograms.
Outpatient procedures e.g. dressing and cleaning of wounds
Drugs/ medication dispensed.
Limits – from Kshs. 30,000 to Kshs. 250,000 per family/ per person.
Dental expenses including Consultation with a dentist, Anesthetists fees
Hospital and Operating Theatre costs relating to extractions and fillings i.e. treatment of the teeth or accidental damage to dentures.
Limits- from Kshs. 10,000 to Kshs. 30,000 per person/ family.
Cost of eye testing.
Eyeglasses and contact lenses (non-disposable).
Replacement of frames accidentally damaged.
Replacement of existing lenses as part of further treatment.

Maternity cover will cater for, Delivery expenses.
Pre-natal care
Post-natal care and Ultrasounds all within the maternity limit.
Limits- from Kshs. 50,000 to Kshs. 150,000 per principal member or spouse.
